Leeds has quietly built a Mexican scene, most of it in the last few years and most of it north of the centre. A Headingley cantina that has been at it longest, a birria specialist on Otley Road, a station burrito for the train home, and a taqueria in the arches that only opened because the market stall ran out of room. Some are counters, some are proper sit-downs. All six are worth the walk.
